Catholic Online School is dedicated to Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Pope Paul VI, put it simply: “There is no evangelization if the name, the teaching, the life, the promises, the Kingdom and the mystery of Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God are not proclaimed.” (On Evangelization in the Modern World, Paul VI, 1975)
Catholic Online School is deeply committed to supporting the proclamation of the Gospel through our primary, secondary, and higher education curriculum.
We recall the statement made by the Second Vatican Council, 'Holy Mother Church must be concerned with the whole of man's life, even the secular part of it insofar as it has a bearing on his heavenly calling. Therefore she has a role in the progress and development of education.' (Gravissimum Educationis, Preface) Education remains critically important in the formation of the human person by teaching how to live well now so as to be able to live with God for all eternity.
Catholic education addresses the development of the whole person through spiritual and academic formation based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission of Catholic education provides a particular environment for the New Evangelization by presenting the Gospel anew within our school and parish communities.
Christianity is an encounter with the Word Made Flesh, Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ, not only is our soul saved, but the entirety of our human experience is being made new. The fullness of redemption will be complete when we, like Him, are raised from the dead.
The early Church Father Gregory of Nazianzus put it this way, "whatever was not assumed was not healed." It was ALL assumed in Jesus Christ - and in Him it is all made new.
Catholic Online School serve both the faith community and society by educating children, young people and adults to contribute to the common good by becoming active and caring members of the communities, cities, and nation in which they live.

In his last words to the apostles, Jesus gave them a mission:
'Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.' (Mt 28: 19-20 NJB)
Thus, the teaching mission of the Church comes from Christ himself. The responsibility for fulfilling that mandate passes on unchanged to all Catholics.
