Objective: Students will learn about God’s providence, forgiveness, and plan for His chosen people through the story of Joseph and his family in Egypt. They will understand:

• That a famine forced Jacob’s sons to go to Egypt to buy grain, where Joseph had risen to power.
• That Joseph tested his brothers to see if they had changed and would protect Benjamin.
• That Judah and the brothers showed love and mercy, offering themselves to save Benjamin.
• That Joseph revealed his identity, forgave his brothers, and recognized God’s hand in everything.
• That God used Joseph’s trials to bring his family to Egypt, where they grew into a great nation.
• That God always keeps His promises, guiding His people even through hardship.
• That Joseph’s story teaches the power of forgiveness and reminds us that God can bring good from evil.
