Grade 8 - U.S. History - In this course, students will take a journey across two centuries of American history, from the American Revolution to the Industrial Revolution.
Objective: U.S. History - In this course of study, students will survey the history of the United States of America. The course begins with the years leading to the American Revolution and continues to the post-revolutionary period to examine how the Constitution was written. The course continues through the tumultuous antebellum period, and concludes with a look at the trauma of the American Civil War.
