Objective: Students will learn about God’s law of love and how the Ten Commandments guide us in living a life that leads to Heaven. They will understand:

  • That God gave the Ten Commandments out of love to guide His people in how to live as His holy children.
  • That the first three Commandments teach us how to love, honor, and worship God above all things.
  • That God calls us to love our families and respect all human life, because every person is created by God and is precious.
  • That living with honesty, faithfulness, and respect for others helps build trust and peace in our communities.
  • That God wants our hearts to be grateful and content, not jealous or greedy.
  • That true happiness does not come from having more things, but from loving God and being thankful for His blessings.
  • That by following the Ten Commandments each day, we grow closer to God, make good choices, and walk the path that leads to Heaven.
