Objective: Students will learn about Jesus' Resurrection and the new life He gives to all who believe in Him. They will understand:

• That Jesus truly rose from the dead on the third day, fulfilling His promise and conquering sin and death.
• That the empty tomb, the angels, and Jesus' appearances to His disciples are witnesses to His Resurrection.
• That the Resurrection is the greatest proof that Jesus is truly the Son of God and our Savior.
• That Jesus remained with His Apostles for forty days, preparing them to continue His mission.
• That Jesus rose in His glorified body and promises the resurrection of the body to His faithful people.
• That every human body is created by God, deserves respect, and is destined for resurrection.
• That the Easter Vigil celebrates Christ's victory over sin and death and the hope of eternal life.
• That through Baptism we receive new life in Christ, and through Reconciliation we are restored to God's grace.
• That Jesus continues to strengthen His Church through the Eucharist, the sacraments, and His saving grace.
• That all Christians are called to live with faith and hope as they prepare for eternal life with God.
