Objective: Students will learn about Jesus Christ and the truth that He is both fully God and fully man, and how this mystery reveals who He is and how we are called to follow Him. They will understand:

• That Jesus is one divine Person with two natures, fully God and fully man.
• That Jesus did not stop being God when He became man.
• That Jesus is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.
• That the union of His divine and human natures is called the hypostatic union.
• That the Incarnation is when God the Son became man for our salvation.
• That Jesus has a real human body and a real human soul.
• That Jesus experienced hunger, tiredness, pain, and suffering.
• That Jesus experienced real human emotions such as joy, sadness, and sorrow.
• That Jesus never sinned and always followed the will of the Father.
• That Jesus is eternal and has always existed as God.
• That the mystery of Jesus being fully God and fully man is a truth revealed by God.
• That the prophets in the Old Testament prepared the way for Jesus.
• That Jesus proved who He is through His life, teachings, Death, and Resurrection.
• That Jesus is the perfect model for how we are called to live.
• That we are called to imitate Jesus in love, obedience, and holiness.
• That Jesus died for our sins and rose again to open the gates of heaven.
• That Jesus is our Savior, and through Him we are called to share in eternal life.
