Objective: This course explores how the effort to protect the unborn from abortion is not only a cause or movement, but a spirituality.

Lessons

1.    The Pro-life Movement Rooted in Faith – This lesson gives an overview of how pro-life activity flows from and leads back to our Faith.

2.    Life: The Foundational Right – This lesson explains why the right to life is the most fundamental right of all.

3.    The Mission of Prolife Spirituality – This lesson explains the mission and some of the virtues of a pro-life missionary.

4.    The Virtues of a Prolife Spirituality: Compassion and Solidarity – This lesson explains some of the virtues that shape our Christian pro-life activity.

5.   More Virtues of a Pro-life Spirituality – This lesson explains additional virtues that should shape our pro-life activity

6.    Disciplines and Characteristics of Pro-life Spirituality – This lesson explains the disciplines and characteristics of the spirituality of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life

Instructor Bio:

Pro-life Leader FRANK PAVONE is one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the world. Originally from New York, he was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1988 by Cardinal John O’Connor, and has dedicated his entire life and ministry to ending abortion. In 1993 he requested and received permission to serve as the National Director of Priests for Life, which, under his leadership, has become the largest Catholic organization focused on ending abortion. He is also the President of the National Pro-life Religious Council, and the National Pastoral Director of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign and of Rachel’s Vineyard, the world’s largest ministry of healing after abortion. His efforts have been recognized as a key factor in the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. His work has been praised by Presidents, Popes, and countless citizens.
