Dear Students in the U.S. and worldwide, it seems you use Catholic Online School a lot. We think that is Great and we hope you find it useful. But fewer than 2% of Students donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.
Introduction to Computers - This course will teach computer literacy. Students will be briefly introduced to the parts of the computer and how those parts work together. Most of the course will teach the use of various applications, specially the Microsoft Windows operating system and software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Emphasis will be placed on the classroom application of these programs.
Computer Programming - Students will learn how to program using Small Basic as an introduction, then learn how to code in Visual Basic Express, which is a widely used Windows-based programming language. The goal is for students to learn how to write programs for practice, then create their own programs as a final exercise.
