Other projects will help children to explore their creativity and build confidence in their artistic skills.

This class will provide them with the skills they need to learn reading. Students will learn to write their name as well as read their first words.

Math – Catholic Online School’s math curriculum for Kindergarten will teach students to recognize shapes, objects, positions and patterns. Students will learn to associate numerals with different sets of items and counting from 1 to 100. Students will learn how to measure objects, tell time, and work with money.

Music – In music, students will begin learning the rich and varied hymns of praise as well as a variety of other children’s songs which aid in learning. Students will learn to recognize the music used during the celebration of the Mass. The goal of the class will be to encourage their full and joyous participation in worship and song.

Students will learn the purpose of creation and our existence, and that we should love God with all their hearts as well as their neighbors. Students will also be introduced to the many traditions of the faith as well as worship practices and prayers.

Science – Science will prepare your student to become a critical thinker by teaching the basics of the scientific method. Students will be able to perform basic experiments and other activities at home. Students will also learn that God is the source of all knowledge and that God alone can create and work miracles, which are beyond the realm of science.
